Tri-rated Equipment Wires

Tri-rated wire is a flexible, high temperature, flame retardant electrical wire designed for use in electrical cabinets, panel building, switch control and other industrial electrical installations.

The name denotes that it meets the requirements of three different international standards – BS 6231 Type CK of the British Standards Institute (BSi); UL758 of the Underwriters Laboratories’ (UL) Appliance Wiring Materials (AWM); and CSA 22.2 of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). The three ratings make the wire extremely versatile as it can be incorporated in equipment destined for both the North American and European markets.

Sizes 50mm² to 240mm² are available on request. Standard colours stocked are Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Grey, Orange, Pink, Red, Violet, White, Yellow and Green/Yellow.
